The need to get rid of electrostatic charges generated at a building or any other area has driven the initiative for the creation of raised technical floor systems with a much better electrical conductive capacity.

The conductive technique can be used for GAMAFLOR PAC, GAMAFLOR BANK and GAMAFLOR FULL STEEL systems. It works by identifying the electrostatic charges in a room and diverting them transversely to the ground through the raised technical floor system.

The use of CONDUCTILE SUPER-OR floor finishes, which are made of PVC and graphite, helps to identify the atmosphere electrostatic charges and divert them to the lower part of the system through copper pipes that get in contact with the steel panel and the structure, creating an electricity conductive system with an electrical resistance of 10^4 to 10^6 Ohms.

This type of raised technical flooring is recommended in racks rooms, power rooms, energy generators, etc, because they are areas with a great number of electronic devices that generate electrostatic charges. GAMAFLOR with conductive capacity system is also recommended for areas with high geologic electrostatic charges.

There are different conductive levels according to each building requirements and according to the electrical resistance of each system:

  • Antistatic System: It has an electrical resistance of >10^9 ohm.
  • Dissipated/dispelled Antistatic System: It has an electrical resistance of 10^7 to 10^9 ohm.
  • Conductive System: It has an electrical resistance of 10^4 to 10^6 ohm. The best optimal electrical resistance.
